This strap-on temperature sensor features a direct output thermistor sensing element, available as NTC 10K or platinum sensing element PT1000, with other sensing elements available upon request.
The TSE sensor‘s sensing element is enclosed in a secure clamp under the enclosure, which adapts to the pipe surface. It is fastened using an adjustable 220 mm strap-on band, suitable for pipe diameters 32 to 50 mm. Additional strap-on lengths can be provided upon request.
With tolerances at 25°C of ±0.22°C for NTC 10K and ±0.42°C for PT1000, the TSE sensor ensures reliable and precise performance.
The strap-on temperature sensor TSE features a simple 2-wire connection, with options for 3-wire and 4-wire configurations available.
The enclosure of the TSE sensor is rated IP65, ensuring protection in challenging environments. It is capable of operating at temperatures up to 100°C and features 4 quick-locking screws for secure access to the enclosure.
Wiring connections are housed within the ABS plastic enclosure, using a screw clamp connection suitable for cables up to 1.5 mm. The enclosure is equipped with a plastic cable entry gland M16 x 1.5, including strain relief for cables with diameters between 4 and 10 mm.
