Room Smoke Detector with Fire Alarm Siren and Alarm Relay Output, FWD 305

The Room Smoke Detector FWD 305 is an optical (photoelectric) smoke detector equipped with a microprocessor, offering dual alarm signals for fire incidents. It provides both a fire alarm signal from the initiating detector and a warning alarm signal for interconnected detectors in the system.

  • General Information

    • Activation Signal
      Upon powering up, the detector emits a Morse signal (Long, Short, Short, Short) indicating proper functionality.
    • Testing
      Pressing the test button activates the fire warning signal. Releasing the button generates a signal (Short, Short, Short) to confirm functionality.
    • Standard Type Programming (Basic Features)
      • Fire Alarm Siren: Emits a periodic signal when smoke is detected.
      • Alarm Relay Output: Activates immediately upon smoke detection (SPDT, 1A at 24 Vdc).
      • Delay: The relay output has an 8-second delay before activation.
      • Interconnection: Allows activation of additional detectors via an extra wire when one detector senses smoke.
